This new edition brings to the fore the most burning issue of the moment facing the construction market, namely the increase in prices for construction materials.
Raw material prices have almost doubled since last year, so construction materials for ongoing construction projects are unlikely to be continued.
The historical maximums of this year’s prices will be reflected in the long run in these projects, and the causes are related to the international context and do not necessarily depend on Romania. We will discuss on
this topic with representatives of the public administration and with representatives of the private environment, in order to find solutions at local level, to get out of the crisis, so that the projects do not get stuck.
We will also try to find out what the future might look like in the field of construction, what are the solutions to reduce the labor crisis, but also what investments could boost the economy, especially in terms of European funds provided by PNRR.The faster we accelerate investment, the sooner the economy can recover from this difficult period induced by the pandemic crisis.
We will pay special attention to the latest technological solutions for intelligent construction. Digital transformation and innovation are also present in this sector and will make it possible to streamline investments and track them during construction works.
