Newsweek Romania returns on 9 October with a new event aimed at the general public on financial education and personal investments.
Financial companies have changed their business model in recent years by replacing face-to-face interaction with customers with digital platforms where customers can conduct their own financial transactions.
Therefore, financial education and how we protect ourselves from online theft attempts is becoming an important component of lifelong learning. Also, how we know how to filter information that appears online, especially on social media, can make the difference between keeping your money safe or taking financial risks.
We discuss these topics with our guests from the Financial Supervisory Authority. For people who save and want to invest in various financial instruments, we will talk to specialists from the private business world. We aim to find out how a portfolio of such financial instruments should be constructed, but also monitored, and how investors should set their expectations correctly.
We will also talk about ETFs – financial instruments that have become very popular lately with investors, even beginners. How important is it to invest in a private pension fund, what does Pillar II and Pillar III mean, how many pension funds can we contribute to, when would be the right time to think about such an investment, how do we choose the fund that suits us, how much
money will we have at retirement, is it better to keep the money at the bank or put it in a private pension fund? These are just some of the questions our guests from the private pension industry will answer.
The audience will be limited to 20 seats. To participate in the room, please register by emailing office@newsweek.ro and you will be confirmed by a message from the organizer.
The event will be live streamed on newsweek.ro (Top 10 most read News and Analysis websites in SATI’s ranking, with a traffic of over 2.6 million unique readers per month) and on Newsweek Romania’s Facebook page (67,000 followers and a monthly impact of 5 million posts).
