Newsweek Romania magazine organizes the fourth edition of the IT&C SUMMIT, in which the main topic discussed will be Industry 5.0, which will orient the business environment and public administration towards the focus of man and his well-being in the middle of all processes.
Why is the fifth industrial revolution being discussed right now, given that technology 4.0 is in full swing? The European Commission is set to establish a new strategy that will have to be taken into account by both the private and the state.
Industry 4.0 is more recently considered by the European Commission as not the right framework for achieving the proposed targets for 2030 and beyond.
Industry 4.0 is centered around cyber-physical objects that provide processes to improve
efficiency through digital connectivity and artificial intelligence.
However, this industry is not suitable for climate change and does not take into account social tensions.
There is a need to steer industry towards the great challenges of society: a zero net emissions economy, inclusive growth, health, social and regional cohesion, sustainable mobility and environmental regeneration.
Therefore, the transition to Industry 5.0 means overcoming the goals of technological growth and focusing on human progress and well-being based on creating regenerative economic value and fair prosperity.
Thus Industry 5.0 covers Industry 4.0 with technological transformation and prepares it for people, the planet and prosperity.
At the event we discuss what Industry 4.0 currently means, compared to version 5.0 and what are the relevant elements for Industry 5.0, which are already part of the European Commission’s major policy initiatives.
We will also discuss with the representatives of the private sector from technology field about the solutions and services they offer and which can help the transition to a new industrial revolution.
The #2022 IT&C SUMMIT will take place online and will be broadcast live on newsweek.ro (site in the Top 10 most read News and Analysis sites in Romania in the ranking published by SATI , with a traffic of over 2.2 million unique readers per month) and on the Facebook page of Newsweek Romania (over 60,000 followers and a monthly impact of posts – reach – of over 5 million people).
