➔ How important is dual education for economics and for gaining practical skills for life.
➔ Opportunities to get a job.
Vocational education has an important role for the social and economic development of a nation and is part of the education and training system of any country.
In Romania, the importance of this education is all the greater as economic agents claim the shortage of skilled workers in many fields such as: hospitality, logistics, trade, construction and much more.
Vocational education can be a smart choice for students and parents, leading to increased employability of graduates and better paid jobs.
The event proposed by Newsweek Romania magazine:
• represents an information platform about the high school plans, included in the dual education program, which it offers to young people who want to get a job, who do not plan to attend a college;
• can help the interested public to see the benefits of choosing dual education;
• brings together policy makers, education specialists, consultants and company representatives to discuss the current supply of craftsmen and labor market requirements, the advantages of a skilled trade and the road to achieving it.
The online event will be broadcast live on newsweek.ro (site in the Top 10 most read news and analysis sites in Romania, according to SATI, with a traffic of over 1.6 million unique readers per month) and on the Newsweek Romania’s Facebook page (over 42,000 followers and monthly reach of posts of almost 5 million people).
