Against a backdrop marked by a rise in digital fraud, growing reliance on digital infrastructure, and the risks associated with cyberattacks, the event aims to examine how Romania can strengthen digital security, user protection, and its ability to respond to major incidents.
The event agenda is structured around two main themes: digital risks and user protection, and the resilience of digital infrastructure and vulnerability management in an increasingly interconnected world.
The discussions at the IT & Cyber Summit 2026 will address topics such as spoofing, phishing, and digital fraud; collaboration between authorities and companies to mitigate cyber risks; vulnerabilities arising from the growing reliance on digital infrastructure; the continuity of essential services, and the ability of organizations and institutions to respond quickly and in a coordinated manner to digital incidents, as well as the priorities Romania should set in the coming years to strengthen digital resilience and protect its citizens
