ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The ESG Summit, organised by Newsweek Romania, focuses on the impact of new sustainability requirements on companies. The discussions centre on reporting obligations, compliance costs and the measures needed to adapt business operations.

New environmental regulations and sustainability reporting requirements present challenges for companies, ranging from compliance obligations to the associated costs.

The summit will examine their impact on the business environment and the role of collaboration between authorities and companies in implementing the new requirements.

Environmental policies influence investment decisions and the use of resources.
Beyond simply complying with legislation, companies need technologies and partnerships that enable them to reduce consumption, prevent waste and improve operational efficiency.

The event programme is structured around two main themes: regulations, public policy and partnerships with the business community, and solutions and investments for the ESG transition. The discussions will cover energy efficiency technologies, the financing of circular economy projects and the responsible use of resources.
Examples of best practice, partnerships and implemented projects will also be presented, with a focus on concrete solutions for reducing waste and the efficient use of resources.
