Newsweek România organizes on June 12, from 16.00 a new edition of NEWSWEEK IT&C SUMMIT: “How new technologies change our lives”.
Today’s technology helps us to do new things better and faster, to interact more easily. There are areas where artificial intelligence and machine learning can do much more than humans are capable of in a very short time. That’s why we will discuss at this summit how today’s technology is changing our lives at work or at home, how it affects us positively and how it affects us negatively.
We have streaming platforms for movies, we go to the cinema less often, we have robots to help us around the house and systems to automate functions remotely.
We communicate more via text, photo and video on social platforms and can work more from home.
We can have medical consultations online, and surgeries can be performed more precisely assisted by robotic technology.
Technology solutions will automate and innovate business in general. But what is most important in all this change in our lives is the cyber security that must come with everything we do in the digital and communications environment.
Cybercriminals are becoming increasingly sophisticated and persistent. How do we make sure our businesses and our privacy are not affected? We will try to find out at this summit.
The event will be broadcasted online on newsweek.ro and on the Newsweek Romania’s Facebook page, from our studio at the World Trade Center-Hotel Pullman, New York Room, Bucharest.
To participate in the room, please register at office@newsweek.ro and you will be confirmed by a message from the organizer.
Last year’s previous edition on this topic had over 106,000 views online.
We mention that such events have a very high impact on the public, newsweek.ro (site ranked in the Top 10 most read News and Analysis sites by SATI, with a traffic of over 2.6 million unique readers per month) and on Newsweek Romania’s Facebook page (67,000 followers and a monthly impact of 5 million posts).
