Newsweek România is organising a new edition of Newsweek Health & Pharma Summit 2023 on 29 March. The event will focus on the need for reform of the Romanian healthcare system and easier access to state medical services.
What should be done to avoid waiting months for appointments for complex investigations or even for routine tests?
Patients need consultations and treatments at the time of their illness, not three months later when a place is available. What about the rural population where there are no doctors?
What are the projects of the Ministry of Health and other authorities in the field we will find out in the first part of the event.
We will also discuss modern treatments, new drugs and how the process for clinical trials in Romania will be accelerated.
In the second part of the event we will bring to the public attention research and innovation in the medical field, as much as it is done in Romania, but also how it should be done, who should support these processes and especially fund them. We will find out from our guests what steps are being taken in this direction and when we will see the first results.
Newsweek Health & Pharma Summit 2023 will be held in hybrid format and will be broadcast from the Newsweek Romania studio. The public will have access to the room, by invitation, subject to a limit of 20 seats.
To participate in the room, please register by emailing office@newsweek.ro and you will be confirmed by a message from the organizer. The event will be streamed live on newsweek.ro (Top 10 most read News and Analysis website in SATI’s ranking, with a traffic of over 2.6 million unique readers per month) and on Newsweek Romania’s Facebook page (67,000 followers and a monthly impact of 5 million posts).
